Our analysis of the cultural impact and awesome move by the Church with the Philadelphia Temple, for which ground was broken this past weekend. Strong move by the Church.

Senior Missionaries – Why don’t more of them serve? Elder Holland has some ideas. So does the Bloggernacle.

MoBach is over. Talk about a letdown. Sheesh. A boring season ends with a boring post-mortem.

Geoff went to Iceland. He is a changed man.

The actor who played John in one of the temple films was digitally removed and replaced with another actor. Why would the Church bother to yank someone from a twenty-year-old film? We’re really curious about the reasoning behind this.

Other stuff: Cow moosick in France, the BYU Student Review is resurrected, Frats and sororities at the U of U are gone, the Payson Temple goes viral, and a little website that got Al into a whole lotta trouble.

I think one of the things holding Seniors from serving missions is that so many young adults are having to live with their parents after they get out of college and what not. These older people many not be able to go because they have to support their adult children. What do you think?

I totally agree with everything you said about Ashley. What were they thinking when they chose her?? In the (alleged) words of Matt Laidlaw, “she dates like a beehive”. But I think you give the guys waaaay too much credit. Three of them were there to get some free press for their movie, a few turned up seeming rather excited for their fifteen long, boring minutes of internet reality fame but reeking in indifference as to who the bachelorette might be, one guy was even unemployed and living with his mother! Still, there was a handful of decent guys free for the taking, none of whom she was ever going to warm up to. It would be sad if MoBach went out on such a crappy, boring, serious, uptight season.
