Syke! Come on, everyone knows Plumridge Lakes isn’t ready for a temple yet. Everyone knows they first need a branch. Here are some real guesses.

  • Charlotte, North Carolina – Close to the temple in Columbia, South Carolina, but also a huge (and growing) metropolitan area
  • Orem, Utah – Don’t laugh. If Provo can have two, Orem can have one.
  • Antananarivo, Madagascar – Two stakes, three districts. All the lemurs.
  • Vienna or Budapest – Something from old Austria-Hungary has to give. It’s just a question of where.
  • Tirana, Albania – Can you say, “the only stake anywhere in the Balkans”?
  • Tafuna’, American Samoa – Apia in non-American Samoa has a temple, but we’ve got five stakes on Pago Pago alone.
  • Rapid City, South Dakota – See this exciting explanation. Bridging the 200-mile gap!
  • Santa Cruz, Bolivia – Unless it’s punishment for the Morales regime, Santa Cruz is loaded with stakes, but no temple.
  • Valparaiso, Chile – Completely justifiable. Nine stakes in the immediate area alone.
  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – This will happen at some point. It’s just a question of when.
  • Legazpi, Philippines – Why not just keep announcing temples in the archipelagic nation? It seems to happen every conference.
  • Torreon, Mexico – This was an almost last time around. There’s plenty of evidence to support the need.
  • Panama City or Pensacola, Florida – Behold, an exclusion in the 200-mile radius! Give the Panhandle some love!
